Josh Rogin, of Foreign Policy Magazine, revealed last Friday that a document dump by Rep. Darrell Issa’s congressional committee, which is investigating security lapses in the Obama Administration leading up to the Libyan Benghazi U.S. Consulate attack, contains the names of several Libyan’s who were working for U.S. interests. They aren’t now, because after this document dump they’re running for their lives. So I made a short a video which contrasts Issa’s careless release of sensitive State Department data prior to redacting names and sources with Richard Armitage’s leak of the identity of Valerie Plame through a column written by Robert Novak back in 2003. I also attempt to put the story in context to the current presidential race, given that Mitt Romney has severely criticized President Obama over his handling of the catastrophe. Here is the video:
